Terms of Service

The short version: use FramerLink to build real stores, pay through Shopify, and we'll keep the sync running.

Last updated · August 2026

1. The service

FramerLink provides a Framer plugin, a Shopify app and a sync backend that together connect a Shopify store to a Framer project — syncing catalog data into the Framer CMS and providing commerce components for the Framer canvas (the “Service”). By installing or using the Service you agree to these terms.

FramerLink is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Framer B.V. or Shopify Inc. Your use of Framer and Shopify remains governed by their own terms.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You need a Shopify store and a Framer project to use the Service. You're responsible for the credentials you connect (such as Framer API keys) and for making sure you have the right to sync the data in your store.

3. Subscriptions & billing

  • Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing system at the prices shown on the pricing page, on a monthly or yearly interval.
  • You can cancel at any time from the app's Plan page in your Shopify admin; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • If a subscription lapses, your published site keeps working for visitors, but adding components and running syncs pauses until you resubscribe.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • resell, sublicense or misrepresent the Service as your own;
  • use the Service to sell goods that are illegal or violate Shopify's or Framer's acceptable use policies;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.

5. Your content

Your catalog, your designs and the CMS data written into your Framer project remain yours. You grant us only the rights needed to move that data between Shopify and Framer on your behalf.

6. Availability & changes

We work to keep the sync reliable, but the Service is provided “as is” and depends on third-party platforms (Framer and Shopify APIs) we don't control. We may update features over time; material changes are announced in the changelog.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FramerLink is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and plugin. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (5, 7) survive termination.
