Introduction
Framerlink is a Framer plugin for Shopify stores — the missing link between Framer and Shopify. Design your storefront with Framer's creative freedom while Shopify runs the commerce behind it.
Framerlink lives entirely inside Framer. It reads your store through Shopify's own Headless sales channel (the Storefront API), so there is no Shopify app to install and no theme code to touch. Once connected, your products live inside Framer: drop commerce components straight onto the canvas, and mirror your catalog into the Framer CMS so everything from product pages to collection grids stays current.
What Framerlink does
Two capabilities cover most of what a storefront needs:
- An e-commerce component library — 28 drag-and-drop components (Product Card, Add to Cart, Variant Selector, Cart Icon, Search & Filter and more) that land in your project as real, editable Framer code files.
- Shopify → Framer CMS sync — your products, variants, prices, imagery and collections mirrored into Framer managed collections, either on demand with one click or continuously with Auto-Sync.
How it works
Three pieces work together, and you only ever touch the first two:
- The Framer plugin
Listed in the Framer Marketplace as Shopify Link. Browse and insert components, set your brand theme, connect your store and configure what syncs into the CMS.
- Your Shopify Headless channel
Shopify's free Headless sales channel gives you Storefront API tokens. You paste the public token into the plugin once — see Connecting your store. Shopify stays the source of truth for products, inventory, cart and checkout.
- The sync service
Framerlink's cloud service maps your catalog to CMS entries and, with Auto-Sync on, writes changes into your Framer project every two minutes. There is nothing to host or configure on your end.
You'll need a Shopify store on any plan with the Headless channel installed, a Framer project, and a Framerlink account with an active subscription. The quickstart walks through all of it in about ten minutes.
