Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we never touch — across the website, the Framer plugin and the Shopify app.
Who we are
FramerLink (“we”, “us”) provides a Framer plugin and a Shopify app that connect a Shopify store to a Framer project (the “Service”). This policy covers the framerlink.com website and the Service. FramerLink is not affiliated with Framer B.V. or Shopify Inc.; their own privacy policies apply to their platforms.
Data we process
To run the sync
- Store catalog data— products, variants, prices, inventory, imagery and collections from your Shopify store, synced into your Framer project's CMS at your instruction.
- Connection data — your store domain, pairing state, and the credentials you provide (such as a Framer API key for Auto-Sync). Credentials are stored encrypted and are used only to write to the specific project you connected.
- Sync activity — a short, capped log of recent sync events (what changed and whether it succeeded), shown to you in the Shopify admin for debugging.
To run the website
- Analytics — aggregate usage statistics for framerlink.com (page views, referrers) via Google Analytics, used to understand what content helps.
Data we do not collect
- No payment card data.Billing runs entirely through Shopify's billing system; we never see card numbers.
- No customer accounts or passwords.Your storefront's shoppers check out on Shopify; their personal data does not pass through FramerLink's servers beyond what Shopify's cart APIs require in transit.
How data is shared
Catalog data moves between three parties, each only as needed to provide the Service: Shopify (source of your catalog), Framer (the CMS we write into), and our infrastructure providers that host the sync backend. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Retention & deletion
Connection and catalog mirror data is kept while your store is paired. Uninstalling the Shopify app revokes the connection; disconnecting or uninstalling and contacting us at hi@framerlink.com gets any remaining stored data deleted. CMS data already written to your Framer project belongs to you and stays in your project.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you. Email hi@framerlink.comand we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will also be announced in the changelog.
